Background
Brit-Eli Danielsen has been employed at CIRiS since 2008 and have mainly been involved in projects related to the International Space Station and Human Spaceflight programs. Her formal education is an MSc in Cell Biology from NTNU and she is currently pursuing a PhD in design at NTNU.
Research area
Main research interests include design of systems where people and technology work together, particularly in control room settings like on a ship’s bridge or in a ground control room for space operations. Danielsen is particularly interested in how inclusion of the human element in the design process can ensure safety and performance of sociotechnical systems.
